Alice is a teaching tool for introductory computing. It uses 3D graphics and a drag-and-drop interface to facilitate a more engaging, less frustrating first programming experience. Alice is being utilized in other disciplines such as math, to improve understanding and tests scores, and is being taught to learners as young as 6 years old.
